User data deletion

In-app deletion (recommended)

1. Sign in to Urban Chat at urbanchat.net.
2. Open Settings.
3. Scroll to Danger Zone.
4. Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
5. Tap Delete Account.

You must be signed in to complete this flow. If you are signed out, use Sign in / Sign up first, then return to Settings.

Account and content

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, posts, music (including tracks in the Music Vault), circles, and neighborhood associations from Urban Chat. You are signed out when deletion completes.

Subscriptions

If you have Urban Chat Pro, deleting your account cancels Pro right away so you will not be charged again. If we cannot confirm cancellation with our payment provider, nothing is deleted — try again in a few minutes, or cancel Pro first with Manage Billing on the Pro page.

Third-party platforms

Urban Chat may publish house content to social platforms (for example Instagram via our social tools). Deleting your Urban Chat account removes your Urban Chat data. It does not delete content that other people posted, or accounts you hold directly on third-party platforms. Manage those accounts with each platform’s own tools.
