Terms of Service
Effective Date: February 26, 2026. URBANCHAT™ is a brand of LinkChain LLC. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Agreement & community standards
1. Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old, legally allowed to use this service in your location, and provide accurate account information. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 will be removed.
2. Community Conduct
No harassment, stalking, hate, threats, scams, impersonation, predatory behavior, sexual exploitation, or illegal activity. Keep your behavior respectful.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login details secure.
4. User Content
You keep ownership of your content, but you grant Urban Chat™ permission to host, display, and moderate it on the service.
5. Offline Meetings
Urban Chat™ does not arrange, supervise, or vouch for in-person meetings between members. If you meet someone you connected with here, you do so at your own risk. Review the Safety Center for meeting-offline tips.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or community safety rules. We may cooperate with law enforcement when legally required or when we believe there is a genuine risk of harm.
7. Service Changes
Features may change, pause, or end over time. We may update these terms when needed.

Urban Experts Program
Optional prestige seats
Urban Experts is an optional community prestige program — closer to an urban game / elected topic seat than a job or paid consultancy. Seats are temporary and scarce. Urban Chat™ does not employ Experts and does not endorse their businesses.
1. No employment
Serving as an Urban Expert does not make you an employee, contractor, partner, or agent of Urban Chat™ or LinkChain LLC.
2. Temporary authority
Expert privileges last only while your seat is active. When the term ends, you resign, or the seat is removed, those privileges end.
3. Service standards
While seated, follow in-product Expert Service Standards. Urban Chat™ may warn, restrict tools, or remove a seat for inactivity, spam, deception, or safety violations.
4. Content responsibility
You are responsible for content you publish as an Expert. For health, finance, legal, or other high-risk topics, do not present yourself as a licensed professional unless you are one, and include appropriate disclaimers. Urban Chat™ is not liable for advice members take from Expert content.
5. Promotion and disclosure
Limited, disclosed promotion that is secondary to useful help is allowed. No spam, hidden commercial relationships, outcome guarantees, or implied Urban Chat™ endorsement of your business.
6. Elections and votes
Applications and votes may be moderated for abuse. Urban Chat™ may reject applications, certify results, open vacancies, or appoint a runner-up for remaining term time per program rules. Admin may seat an Expert for cold start (for example, the first Expert on a new topic).
7. Records
Posts and term history may remain visible after your seat ends, labeled as historical.
8. Changes
Topics, term lengths, tools, or program rules may change. Material Expert-rule updates will be reflected on this page. If you do not agree, do not apply for or accept an Expert seat. You may still use Urban Chat™ as a regular member.
