Community Guidelines
These guidelines explain how we expect people to act on Urban Chat. They sit alongside the full Terms of Service.
What we expect
1. Be 18+
Urban Chat is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service.
2. No harassment, stalking, or threats
Do not harass, stalk, intimidate, dox, or threaten anyone. Repeated unwanted contact after someone blocks or ignores you is not allowed.
3. No predatory or sexual exploitation
Do not pressure people for sexual content, meetups, or favors. Do not exploit trust, loneliness, or vulnerability. Predatory behavior is a ban-level offense.
4. No illegal activity
Do not use Urban Chat to plan, promote, or commit crimes. We may remove content, suspend accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement when required or when harm is at stake.
5. Be real - no scams or impersonation
Do not run scams, phishing, fake giveaways, or impersonate other people or brands. Keep your account information reasonably accurate.
6. Respect the block
Neighborhoods, rooms, and feeds work best when people keep it civil. Hate speech, graphic violence for shock, and content that endangers others will be removed.
7. Offline meetings are your responsibility
Urban Chat does not arrange, supervise, or vouch for in-person meetings between members. If you meet someone you met here, you do so at your own risk. Read the Safety Center first.
8. Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these guidelines or the Terms. We do not owe a debate before acting on clear safety violations.
